A light/ medium weight reversible jacket with delicate embroidery on top looks like a piece of art. A perfect piece that can easily be dressed up or down. 

Refer to our fit tip before ordering.  Due to the nature of the fabric no two jackets will ever be exactly the same in pattern placement and colours.  Two different sizes may have different pattern placements. For a cropped style try our Zoe or Anu Jackets. 

  • One-of-a-kind and Zero Waste.
  • Made using a light/ medium weight hand embroidered vintage kantha quilt. This was then embroidered on top to give the base quilt a new dimension. 
  • Reversible with front button fastening. The buttons on the reverse side close on the inside. 
  • Mandarin collar with slide pockets. 
  • Relaxed fit.
  • Contrast cotton bias binding details.

About the craft: Kantha embroidery is one of the oldest forms of embroidery from India. It is said to have first originated in rural villages of Bengal where women used it to strengthen old fabrics such as sarees and lungis creating patchwork pieces for the home or quilts. Recycling at its best! 

About the fabric: We have repurposed a printed kantha quilt sourced from a small family run atelier in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. A light/mid weight patch work kantha quilt was used,  each piece is one-of-a-kind. Small imperfections may be present which are a natural outcome of the handmade and ageing process and not faults. 

We travel to remote parts of India to discover and learn about craft skills and textiles. We work with vintage, dead-stock and handcrafted materials. Therefore, slight irregularities are the natural outcome of the process and are not faults. They connect you to the process and story behind each piece.

  • The model is 5' 7" tall and a UK size 8 wearing the M-L size for an oversized look. If this product does not have a model image, please see another product in the same style with a model for a better understanding of the fit.
  • Sleeves can be folded to reveal the contrast reversible side. This jacket is fully reversible.
  • Check the garment measurements in the size chart to find your perfect size.

  • Can fit UK size 6 - size 10.

Medium - Large

  • Can fit UK size 8 - size 16.

Large - Extra Large

  • Can fit UK 12 - size 18.
  • Spot cleaning is recommended to preserve the fabric for longer.
  • Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry.
  • Dry clean if needed.
