Shipping policy
Please keep in mind that our shipping times should be used as a guide only and are based on time from dispatch.
- Shipping charges if applicable will be calculated and displayed on the checkout page, before completion of your purchase (‘shipping tab’) based on the location, and vary depending on the size, weight and destination of your chosen items. Delivery costs may occasionally be included within the purchase price and we will specify where this is the case. The indicative shipping charges applicable to customers are as below:
- UK: Standard shipping rates apply (with all duties and taxes paid)
- Rest of World: £20 - £30 (excluding duties and taxes)
- Depending on your location, delivery will normally take ~ 2 weeks from the dispatch date, since most of the orders are shipping directly from our partners in South Asia. For ready to shipped orders that are sent from our warehouse in the UK, the estimated time is 3-5 working days for standard shipping.
- If you order from multiple brands, please keep in mind that your items will arrive separately.
- Items are dispatched directly from the brands we work with across South Asia and are subject to availability at the time of ordering. Should an item be out of stock or needs to be made on order, there may be a short delay from the estimated delivery time in your Dispatch Confirmation, of which we will notify you immediately. Please consider any such notification as an amendment to the terms of the Dispatch Confirmation.
- Some orders are made to order or customised, as we constantly work to minimise over production. In this case too, there may be a short delay from the estimated delivery time in your Dispatch Confirmation, of which we will notify you immediately. Please consider any such notification as a modification in the terms of the Dispatch Confirmation.
- In addition to the above, there may be other circumstances which result in reasonable deviations from the estimated delivery time in your Dispatch Confirmation. All our products are slow-made using processes that are dependent on specific skills that very few artisans have. If there is a short delay from the estimated delivery time in your Dispatch Confirmation, we will notify you immediately. Any such notification will be an amendment to the terms of the Dispatch Confirmation.
- If you do not receive your order by the estimated delivery time in your Dispatch Confirmation, please get in touch with us at hello@loomandthings.com and we will investigate it for you. If any product has gone missing, we will do our best to re-order the same product for you and, in doing so, will bear any necessary costs. If this is not possible or cannot be done within a reasonable time, we will offer you a full refund.
- An international order might have to go through customs processing which may cause delays in delivery that are outside of our control. Whilst we will aim to keep delays at a minimum, Loom And Things is not responsible for delays caused by customs controls or failed payment approval.
TAXES & DUTIES
- UK: Currently we only deliver items to the UK inclusive of all shipping, duties, customs and local taxes for majority of items. All shipments to the UK are on DDP (delivery duty paid) unless mentioned otherwise at checkout, therefore, there is no extra charge at checkout.
- India: For India orders we deliver items inclusive of all shipping, duties and local taxes.
- EU & Rest of the World: If you’re placing an order from other EU countries or internationally, you may be liable for duties, taxes and other clearance fees depending on your country of residence and the value of the items.
- Please note returns are not free and you will be responsible for returning the order to our UK Distribution Centre. Please read more under our returns section.
