Our Kantha jackets are handmade by our in-house artisans, each one assembled from vintage heirloom quilts and cloths. No two are alike, and none can be remade.

Made from vintage kantha quilts
These pieces are crafted from vintage hand-embroidered kantha quilts, personally selected by our Founder on her annual journeys across India. Each quilt was hand-stitched decades ago by women using layered cotton sarees — a meditative running-stitch technique that turns soft, worn cotton into something quietly remarkable.
Every piece is genuinely one-of-a-kind. The colours, patterns, fading and frays are unique to that single textile. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
Clothing made from these materials are a true work of art with unique inconsistencies which are not faults.
