Sabki means everyone in Hindi. A unique zero waste piece that'll fit most is elevated with embroidery on a hand stitched vintage kantha blanket. An oversize jacket with enough room for layering, it comes with side pockets and drop shoulders.  A genderless piece, the strength of the fabric will truly make it last for generations. Please refer to the Fit Tip before ordering.  The model is a UK 6-8 | 167 cm tall.

About the craft: Kantha embroidery is one of the oldest forms of embroidery from India. It is said to have first originated in rural villages of Bengal where women used it to strengthen old fabrics such as sarees and lungis. Recycling at its best! 

About the fabric: We use light - mid weight kantha blankets sourced from a small family run atelier in Rajasthan, India.  The vintage base fabric may feature subtle fraying which reveals the underlying layers resulting in the most unique piece of art that you get to wear.  Treat it with care so it can be with you for many years to come. 

We travel to remote parts of India to discover and learn about craft skills and textiles. We work with vintage, dead-stock and handcrafted materials. Therefore, slight irregularities are the natural outcome of the process and are not faults. They connect you to the process and story behind each piece.

This is an oversize jacket. Please see garment measurements below to find your perfect fit.

Garment measurement in inches:

  • Chest (pit to pit) : 46 inches
  • Front length from collar: 24.5 inches.
  • Sleeve length from shoulder: 22 inches
  • Only spot cleaning is recommended to preserve the fabric for longer. Hand wash if needed.
  • Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry.
  • Dry clean only if needed.
