The Nina Vest is versatile and reversible and will be the only thing you need to elevate your summer wardrobe.  It comes with a contrast hand block printed lining and is easily reversible so you have two vests for one.   Due to the nature of the fabric no two jackets will ever be exactly the same in pattern placement and colours. Please refer to the Fit Tip details before ordering.  This is a one size fits most piece. The model is a UK 6-8 | 167 cm tall.

About the craft: Suzani is an embroidered  tribal textile that was traditionally used as decorative pieces and as dowry in Central Asian countries. The craft soon reached North India through trade routes where various forms of it are still practiced today. 

About the fabric: We use surplus Indian Suzani  fabric sourced from Rajasthan. A light weight fabric with wool and cotton embroidery done on sewing machines,  each piece is one of a kind and is uniquely yours. Wear it proudly and treat it with care so it can be with you for many years to come. 

We travel to remote parts of India to discover and learn about craft skills and textiles. We work with vintage, dead-stock and handcrafted materials. Therefore, slight irregularities are the natural outcome of the process and are not faults. They connect you to the process and story behind each piece.

Garment measurement in inches:

  • Chest (pit to pit) : 42 inches
  • Front length from collar: 20 inches.

  • Only spot cleaning is recommended to preserve the fabric for longer. Hand wash if needed.
  • Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry.
  • Dry clean only if needed.
