Made using a light weight hand embroidered bedspread, its flattering shape compliments most body types. A relaxed fit top, the Fida is for those who want something lighter than a jacket. 

Refer to our fit tip before placing the order.  Due to the nature of the fabric no two pieces will ever be exactly the same in pattern placement and colours. Therefore, two sizes in the same colour way may have a difference in pattern placement or a different lining.

  • Made using a hand embroidered light weight bedspread. 
  • Lined with hand-block printed cotton.  
  • Front button fastening.
  • Relaxed fit.
  • One of a kind. 

About the craft: Suzani is an embroidered  tribal textile that was traditionally used as decorative pieces and as dowry in Central Asian countries. The craft soon reached North India through trade routes where various forms of it are still practiced today. 

About the fabric: We have repurposed small batch embroidered fabric originally intended for bed spreads. A light / mid weight fabric with wool and cotton embroidery that is done on sewing machines,  each piece is one-of-a-kind. Small imperfections may be present which are a natural outcome of the handmade process and not faults. 

We travel to remote parts of India to discover and learn about craft and textiles. We only work with handcrafted materials to preserve remote crafts. Therefore, slight irregularities are the natural outcome of the process and are not faults. They connect you to the process and story behind each piece.

  • The model is a UK 8 and 5'7" tall, she is wearing the M-L size.
  • Sleeves can be folded to reveal the contrast printed lining.
  • The top has a relaxed fit.
  • Check the garment measurements in the size chart to find your ideal size.
  • Allow +/2 cm room on measurements due to difference in materials and the individual tailoring process for each piece. We do not mass produce.

Garment measurement in inches:

Small - Medium

  • Chest all around- 41 inches.
  • Length - 23.5 inches.

Medium - Large

  • Chest - 44 inches.
  • Length - 24.5 inches.

  • Cold hand wash and line dry.
  • Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry.
  • Dry clean only if needed.
