Origin: Embroidered in Jodhpur, Tailored in New Delhi.

Made using hand- embroidered velvet fabric, its flattering shape compliments most body types. Refer to our fit tip before ordering.  Due to the nature of the fabric no two jackets will ever be exactly the same in pattern placement and colours. 

  • Made using hand embroidered velvet fabric with contrast cotton bias piping. 
  • Quilted with cotton wadding and lined with hand-block printed cotton.  
  • Comes with buttons, a mandarin and side pockets. 
  • Relaxed fit. 
  • Zero Waste.

About the craft: Suzani is an embroidered  tribal textile that was traditionally used as decorative pieces and as dowry in Central Asian countries. The craft soon reached North India through trade routes where various forms of it are still practiced today. 

About the fabric: We have repurposed small batch produced embroidered fabric originally intended for bed spreads. A mid weight fabric with wool and cotton embroidery that is done on sewing machines,  each piece is one-of-a-kind. Small imperfections may be present which are a natural outcome of the handmade process and not faults. 

We travel to remote parts of India to discover and learn about craft skills and textiles. We work with vintage, dead-stock and handcrafted materials. Therefore, slight irregularities are the natural outcome of the process and are not faults. They connect you to the process and story behind each piece.

  • The model is 5' 10" tall and a UK size 8 wearing the M-L size.
  • Sleeves can be folded to reveal the contrast printed lining.
  • See the length with reference to your height.
  • Check the garment measurements in the size chart to find your perfect size. Size up if you're unsure.

  • Can fit UK size 6 - size 110.

Medium - Large

  • Can fit UK size 8 - size 14.

Large - Extra Large

  • Can fit UK size 10 - size 16.
  • Spot cleaning is recommended to preserve the fabric for longer.
  • Cold hand wash and line dry.
  • Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry.
  • Dry clean only if needed.
