The Meera Jacket is going to become your favourite jacket for years to come. Made using hand- embroidered fabric, its flattering shape compliments most body types. A relaxed fit jacket with enough room for layering, it comes with a hand block printed cotton lining and side pockets. Refer to our fit tip before placing your order.  Due to the nature of the fabric no two jackets will ever be exactly the same in pattern placement and colours.

About the craft: Suzani is an embroidered  tribal textile that was traditionally used as decorative pieces and as dowry in Central Asian countries. The craft soon reached North India through trade routes where various forms of it are still practiced today. 

About the fabric: A light - mid weight soft vintage hand stitched kantha blanket with delicate embroidery on top. The vintage base fabric may have subtle fraying which reveals the underlying layers resulting in the most unique piece of art that you get to wear.   Each piece is one-of-a-kind and is uniquely yours. Wear it proudly and treat it with care so it can be with you for many years to come. Small imperfections may be present which are a natural outcome of the handmade process and not faults. 

We travel to remote parts of India to discover and learn about craft skills and textiles. We work with vintage, dead-stock and handcrafted materials. Therefore, slight irregularities are the natural outcome of the process and are not faults. They connect you to the process and story behind each piece.

  • The model is 5'7.5" and a UK size 10 wearing the M-L size.
  • Sleeves can be folded to reveal the contrast printed lining.
  • This is a relaxed fit jacket.
  • Size up for a more relaxed fit and see the length with reference to your height.

Small - Medium

  • Can fits UK size 6 - size 12.

Medium - Large

  • Can fit UK size 8 - size 14.

Large - Extra Large

  • Can fit UK size 10 - size 16.
  • Spot cleaning is recommended to preserve the fabric for longer.
  • Cold hand wash and line dry if needed.
  • Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry.
