The Bombay Jacket is an absolute head turner. A blazer style structured jacket with a slight over size fit that is perfect over jeans or pants. We often just leave the buttons open or style it with a slim belt around the waist.  We've also just worn it as is as a dress!  A season-less and genderless piece, our jackets will elevate any outfit.  Due to the nature of the fabric no two jackets will ever be exactly the same in pattern placement and colours. Please refer to the Fit Tip before ordering.  The model is a UK 6-8 | 167 cm tall. 

About the craft: Khes weaving is a textile weaving craft indigenous to rural Punjab in North India. A thick woven cloth, Khes fabric is primarily woven by women on pit looms. They weaved this fabric for their wedding trousseau for its multiple uses. Due to cheaper machine made alternatives, the craft has seen a dramatic decline over the years where looms have been stored away for years. 

About the fabric: Our handloom khes fabric is sourced from our founders ancestral village in North India where we have worked with traditional women weavers who had once given up weaving. A mid weight fabric reversible patterned fabric,  each piece is one of a kind and is uniquely yours. Wear it proudly and treat it with care so it can be with you for many years to come. 

We travel to remote parts of India to discover and learn about craft skills and textiles. We work with vintage, dead-stock and handcrafted materials. Therefore, slight irregularities are the natural outcome of the process and are not faults. They connect you to the process and story behind each piece.

  • Sleeves can be folded to reveal the contrast printed lining.
  • Please see garment measurements below to find your perfect fit.
  • The jackets are slightly oversize so you can wear them through the seasons.

  • Chest (pit to pit) : 40 inches
  • Front length from collar: 27 inches.
  • Sleeve length from shoulder: 24.5 inches
  • Can fit size 6 - size 14. The model is a UK 6-8| 167 CM tall.
  • Only spot cleaning is recommended to preserve the fabric for longer. Hand wash if needed.
  • Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry.
  • Dry clean only if needed.
