Ohku describes itself as an ever evolving initiative to collaborate with and empower local artisans of the Kumaon region in the Himalayas. Their goal is to empower women and marginalised communities from the region by helping them rediscover their handmade skills such as spinning and knitting that are indigenous to the region.
