Our Ariel Kaftan definitely calls for a vacation. This easy, breezy number is crafted in luscious muslin silk that feels like a second skin. A plunging V-neckline, pleat detail in the front and a belt with delicate embroidery make it resort wear perfection.

We believe customers have a right to know how their product was made. 3.25 metres of muslin silk fabric sourced from Jaipur has been used for this piece. Hand dyed by our artisans in Mumbai, manufactured in our workshop at Pune India.

This product is hand-dyed in Mumbai, India using traditional techniques of clamp dyeing. Subtle variations in patterns are natural to this process. We believe this makes each creation unique and charming. Some call it je ne sais quoi. We call it JODI.

Jodi is an India-based design studio founded in 2014 by longtime friends Gauri Verma and Karuna Laungani. It is an Indian high-street, slow fashion brand that is inspired by a shared love for craft, culture, fashion and travel.

The brand aims to offer joyful, fashion-forward designs for your home and wardrobe. They work with natural, Indian textiles and champion artisanal craft techniques such as hand block printing, bandhini dyeing, and hand embroidery among others. The results are entirely unique and we hope they bring a bit of colour and wonder to your world.
